Kaisers bridge - The main image see's the bridge complete taken around ca. 1918 before its destruction in WWIII, when the Germans blew up the bridge to allow easy passage of their vehicles. The image taken from the sea, sees the jetty and bridge as it was before the road following the coast line was built.

The stone jetty and bridge was built by Sissi to allow easy access to the Achilleion Palace for the nobility without having to port and then be taken by horse and carriage to the Palace. If you walk to the end of the jetty you will see the dolphins which was Sissi's trademark. You may read that the bridge was built by the kaiser but this is not true. The Kaisers Bridge restaurant is highly recommend ♥
