Located on close to the old port, and just before the New Fortress, this is an ideal area to park when visiting the town, especially if you are a little nervous when there it busy traffic. Like many of the car parks is not expensive and you can park all day for one charge.
Walking and following the harbour towards the old town, you will pass lots of shops and places to eat and drink. Taking the road at a slight angle, takes you up hill, along side the walls of the New Fortress eventually you will reach the fresh market which open's everyday except Sunday from very early till around two o'clock.
Continue following this road to reach the new area of town and towards where once stood the original gates to enter the old town area. Lots of Shops, cafe's and restaurants here
