Described by Lawrence Durrell as "The most beautiful beach in the world." It has been eroded over the years and you can still go on it although it can be a little awkward getting down to it due to the rocks. don't get us wrong, it's perfectly visible. In our opinion if Lawrence could have got to other beaches on the island we think he would say this about many.
Please bear in mind the beach is still popular in the summer season (mainly by nudist sunbathers). It is also a great place to snorkel. Along the road from the beach is the lovely monastery of Miriotissa that is also well worth a visit.
